Judy Willis, Event Organiser

Judy Willis

Event Organiser

Judy joined the show in 2014 after a career spanning the Police Force, and communications management during the 2012 Olympics. Judy oversees the day to day running of the show, co-ordinating the livestock sections and planning entertainment, trading and catering elements of the show. Her role also encompasses logistics, security, infrastructure, IT and communications. On show day her base is in the Secretary’s Cabin, but she can be found at the Show’s permanent HQ at Hexham Auction Mart throughout the year.

Kerry Robson, Show Secretary

Kerry Robson

Show Secretary

With a background in administration, finance and agriculture, Kerry has great credentials for the role of Show Secretary. Working three days a week allows her time to spend with her family and their array of dogs, chickens, ponies, Guinea pigs and other small pets. Kerry primarily supports Judy and the Management Committee in a wide range of tasks; including responsibility for administration and accounts, handling customer and trade enquiries, and being the first point of contact for Members.

Sue Thompson, Marketing and PR

Sue Thompson

Marketing & PR

Sue co-ordinates the Show’s annual marketing budget; planning media, liaising with press, and writing articles for both the show’s own literature, digital marketing and for other local publications. She is the primary contact for sponsors and Principal Partners, and is always available to help them get the most from their investment in the show. Sue enjoys organising the annual Children’s Art Competition for schools, and encourages young people to learn more about agriculture and food production through the great events and attractions at the Northumberland County Show.

Anthony Crozier, Site Manager

Anthony Crozier

Site Manager

Having served on the committee for many years, including terms as President and Chairman, Anthony knows the show and its people inside out. As a local farmer he understands the needs of the livestock exhibitors, as well as how to improve and maintain the land and buildings the show uses at the Bywell site. Anthony ensures that the show field map (like a giant jigsaw puzzle) of arenas, marquees, trade stands and facilities actually works in practice and is the first point of contact for facilities infrastructure, groundwork contractors, electrical supply and other utilities.
