What is the history of the society?

Tynedale Agricultural Society was resurrected out of the Tyneside Agricultural Society, which began in the early 1800’s. Tynedale Agricultural Society began in 1982 on the same site as the previous show had been since 1948, Tynedale Park at Corbridge.

Are there any information points if I need help on show day?

There are four information points around the showground staffed by volunteers from Churches Together and Willowburn Hospice. Buy your Show Catalogues here, find out what’s on, get directions or ask for help and our wonderful volunteers will assist you.

Are there any food stands at the show?
There is something to suit every taste with a wide range of regional specialities, hand cooked food stalls, public bars and old fashioned tea tents.
Are dogs allowed at the show?

Only well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Don’t forget your poo bags and dispose of waste. Water bowls for dogs are located at each information point, but please come prepared with water in case your thirsty dog companion becomes thirsty on the show field and you’re not near one of our information points.

For the safety of the public, the show field animals and your dogs themselves:
ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD - no dogs will be allowed in any livestock marquee.
NO DOGS ARE TO BE LEFT IN CARS - checks will be made to ensure the welfare of your pets.

What is the terrain of the show ground?
The show ground is a field and then all our volunteers arrive en mass and create this beautiful Show Ground.  Please wear suitable footwear as if going for a walk in the country as the ground is uneven and you will be walking on grass, so leave your stillettos at home and come in trainers, wellies or sturdy boots.
Do you have to pay for parking on show day?

PARKING IS FREE

There are over 10,000 car park spaces available, to the north and east of the showground, and on the south side of Bywell Bridge, just follow Yellow Show signs showing the blue P in the square for public parking, to get to the show.
Blue badge holders will be directed to their area on arrival at the show ground.
Members’ Car Park spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed after 11am.

Please note the red, green and blue circles are for exhibitors.
