Dementia Friendly

The show has been working hard to improve signage and train our volunteers and we are working towards being Dementia Friendly.  Look out for people with the blue flower, as they'll be looking to assist visitors to ensure they have a wonderful day.

Toilets

We have over 200 toilets available on show day. Some in the main car parks and also just inside the two main entrances.

Most are the familiar portaloos' but we also have two trailer units with flushing toilets and running water facilities.

To save queuing for our male visitors we have men's urinals on site in most locations.

If you are a member you will have the use of our executive trailer facilities, it's worth considering upgrading for the day for only £10 at the secretary's office.

Childrens Facilities

We have plenty to offer our younger visitors! Come and join our great friendly team at the children's for lots of fun and games including soft play, arts and crafts, toys and games. You can find us behind the member’s marquee!

Within the show ground we offer baby changing facilities, microwave and breast feeding facilities, which are situated inside our Children's marquee which also houses an undercover crèche and children's activities. Lost children may also be brought here.

Disabled Facilities

At all toilet areas, indicated on show field map (available on show day) there will be a disabled ‘portaloo’ toilet facility.

For disabled changing facilities, please speak to us at the Secretary's Office. At present, there is no designated disabled viewing area.

For people of limited mobility the rough terrain can become slippery and uneven, the show field is very spread out and a lot of walking is required. The show does not have any 'mobility' scooter facilities and we are happy for you bring you own.

Please note: the show field can get very congested at times.

Carers

We are happy to offer a refund to Carers.

Carers must pay full price at the entrance gate then take this to the secretary’s office with proof of them being a carer and complete a ‘Carers Refund Request Form’.

From there, the carer will receive the refund of their ticket.

Please note: the person they are caring for does not get a refund.
