A fantastic selection of teams will compete for this years Tug of War title in the Castle Arena. The success of last years event will mean more entries with more teams needing you to cheer them on in their quest to be the best!

This fantastic traditional sport entertains the crowd every year.  Watch the experts fresh from the Championships.  Great classes for all ages for you to "have a go" at with prize money paid to 8th place.  Classes for adults and children, great fun to take part in.

Our pig display was buzzing with activity last year, with visitors loving our cute piglets and unusual breeds. We’re launching competitive classes this year and looking forward to welcoming Tamworths, Old Spots and a host of commercial varieties competing for shiny new trophies and rosettes in this section.

Our range of unique vendors in the Street Food Market feature cuisine from all around the globe. From the exotic flavours of the far east, spicy Mexican feasts, delicate French crepes to classic Italian pizzas hand cooked in a wood fired oven or delicious curry rolls. Try something different and watch it cooked while you wait.

Live Music – starts at 10 am in Castle Area and Street Food

Our County Fest will host local talented artists for you to enjoy whilst relaxing with a drink or food in this great area. As always we will have the Prudhoe Community Band and Tyne Valley Big Band near the street food area, with the Northumbria Pipers welcoming you to the show at the entrance gates.
