Egg Show
The Egg Show
We are delighted to welcome exhibitors to the Egg Show at this year’s Northumberland County Show. This much-loved section celebrates the quality, diversity, and care that goes into egg production across the region and beyond.
Whether you are a seasoned exhibitor or entering for the first time, the Egg Show offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your finest eggs, connect with fellow poultry enthusiasts, and share best practices in husbandry and presentation. Classes are open to a variety of egg types, with judging based on freshness, uniformity, shell quality, cleanliness, and overall appearance.
Exhibitor Guidelines:
- Entries must be clean, fresh, and correctly classified according to the schedule.
- Eggs should be presented in appropriate containers or on show plates as specified.
- All entries must be staged within the designated times—late entries may not be judged.
- Please ensure your exhibit is clearly labelled with your exhibitor number and class.
Our experienced judges will be looking for excellence and attention to detail, so careful selection and presentation are key. Prizes will be awarded across multiple classes, with special recognition for outstanding exhibits.
The Egg Show is not only a competition but a celebration of rural life, sustainable food production, and the passion of our local farming and smallholding community. We encourage exhibitors to engage with visitors, answer questions, and help inspire the next generation.
We look forward to seeing your entries and wish you the very best of luck in the competition!

Such a shame but we won’t be exhibiting poultry in 2026.
