Trade Stands
With over 20,000 visitors to our show each year, this is a fantastic venue to show off your products and business. We have a range of Trade Stand Sizes to suit all budgets, Main Arena Premium stands for great footfall and ready standing cubicles for easy set up. NEW for 2025 we are taking all Trade Stand applications online.
The link to the application process is below and will be open from 10th October 2024. There are information guides below to help you decide what size or location is right for you, with options for electricity, advertising, sponsorship and extras.

Catering Applications
We have a number of Catering Positions on the show field, all are allocated on a basis of quality and information sent with applications, including prices, menu, Food Hygiene Rating & Risk Assessments. There are information guides below to help you.
Please ensure that you read our Sustainability Statement below for information on Single Used Plastic, Recycling waste and Food waste.
Location is discussed on successful application and the right position for you. We have options for electricity, advertising, sponsorship and extras.

Sustainability Statement – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We have put in place some new guidelines for our Traders, Caterers and visitors.
Green bins (Visitors and Traders) – In 2025 we will be introducing new GREEN dumpy bags for disposable food plates and cups, cardboard and paper. These will be placed with catering stands and encourage visitors to think about their waste and traders to think on their waste products. The green dumpy bags/bins can be emptied into our new green skip which will be for recycle only. This is the first year of trying this and will be a challenge that we are willing to try.
Single Use Plastics (Caterers & Traders) – The Society are working towards reducing single use plastic and try a bit harder each year. Please, where possible, do not bring single use plastic to the show eg: carrier bags, straws, polystyrene food cartons, single use drinks bottles, sugar sachets, sauce sachets. Any waste, wrapping and packaging you have from your preparations you must take home with you. There will be a charge for any waste traders leave on their pitch at the show.
Food Waste –With over 20 Catering stands, Tea Tent and Food Marquee, we have alot of food to be purchased on show day. Please use the designated bins for food waste where possible, these will be situated beside the general waste and green bins for card waste (recyclable) All dumpy bin bags will be clearly identifiable with plenty of signage to help visitors.
Water Points – Around the show field we have water taps for drinking water. This is tested during the year and just before the show to ensure it is safe for consumption. Dog bowls are provided at water points for visitors pets to have a break.
Caterers
Please fully read the Catering Regulations prior to completing your Catering Tender booking form. If you require electric send an Electric Booking Form too.
Don’t forget to send a photo of your unit, Food Hygiene Certificate, risk assessment and Fire risk assessment with full price list so your application can be considered.
Sponsorship
An effective way to promote your brand to our visitors on Show Day, and throughout the year, by maximising your exposure through our digital channels.
Sponsorship starts from as little as £25 for Rosette or Sash Sponsorship, or for a fully inclusive package, apply to become a Principal Partner.
Advertising Form
Get your brand seen by thousands of visitors with opportunities to advertise in our digital Schedule, printed Show Guide, Sponsors brochure and Children’s guide booklet, with a ringside banner or roadside sign

Trade Stands

Taste of the North - Food Marquee
To showcase your artisan cakes, locally produced drinks, fresh pies, breads, or any fresh produce made with love, this is the place for you.
This marquee allows visitors to browse, and often nibble and sip, and sample the wonderful produce from around the region.
Always packed with food lovers, the Taste of the North Marquee at the main entrance is the first (and last) stop for thousands of visitors.
Closing date for applications is 25th April 2025.
Voucher Offer

This is option is FREE for our traders to take advantage of and completely flexible to suit your business.
